1. ON RELATING TO ME
Context is crucial, but get to the point.
- I’m an analytical person and I need context to fully understand situations and make decisions, but I don’t need unnecessary details.
- Be clear, concise, and avoid circling around the point. Don’t feel the need to over-explain.
- When bringing up a problem, come with a proposed solution. I appreciate proactive thinking.
2. ON SPEAKING UP / BEING DIRECT
Let’s skip the fluff.
- I appreciate direct and honest feedback. There’s no need to sugarcoat things - just tell it like it is.
- Constructive criticism is not just welcome: it’s essential. I believe the best ideas often come from challenging the status quo. If you have an idea, bring it to the table - especially if it’s different from mine.
- When suggesting alternatives, make sure your ideas are actionable. I’m looking for solutions that can be implemented, not just theoretical concepts (yes, my ascendant is in Capricorn ♑). If you’ve considered how your idea could work in practice, I’m all ears - even for the craziest ones!
3. ON EMBRACING YOUR IDEAS
Bring your options to the table.
- I love when ideas are presented as options rather than set decisions. Show me the possibilities and let’s discuss them.
- Ideas are stronger when they’re supported by data. Supporting your suggestions with research, examples, or relevant insights helps us make informed decisions.
